Estate Planning

“Never let the fear of striking out keep you from playing the game.”

— Babe Ruth

Why let Heather serve you?

Heather is a committed and vigilant estate planning attorney who brings a global perspective and compassionate approach to her clients and their estate. She is an exceptional attorney licensed in three states, and family is the core of her professional and personal ambition. As a loving wife and proud mother of two beautiful daughters, Heather prides herself in treating her clients like family. Whether ensuring your will is in place or your assets are protected, she welcomes the opportunity to get to know you and give you peace of mind knowing your estate and legacy are secure.

Heather is licensed to practice law in California, North Carolina, and Virginia. She earned her Juris-Doctorate degree from the University of Richmond School of Law. After graduating, she practiced Estate Planning and Estate Administration in Charlottesville, VA for six years.

Heather was born and raised in the beautiful hills of Reno, Nevada. Her husband, Dr. Andrew Bridgforth, a board-certified orthopedic surgeon with additional fellowship training as a hand surgeon at Orthopaedics East & Sports Medicine Center, began his medical career while in the Navy. During his time in the military, the two lived all over the world, including stints in Twentynine Palms, CA, and Rota, Spain, where their first child was born.

Now with two daughters and a very handsome and gentlemanly 90-pound Golden Retriever, George, Heather and her husband are a proud family of five. Greenville’s strong family values, close-knit community, and proximity to many attractions compelled the family to make Greenville home in 2022. Since, Heather’s parents and Andrew’s twin brother have followed suit and joined Pirate Nation – for which they are very grateful!
