LeAnne joins our family law team with diverse academic and professional experience. She has demonstrated an unparalleled drive and dedication to her field and our clients. Her work ethic and perseverance are exemplified by the numerous awards she received in law school, which includes being a Ben & Patrice Thompson Scholarship Recipient.
LeAnne recently completed her LLM in International Legal Studies from the University of Nottingham (England) and earned her Juris-Doctorate degree from Campbell University Norman Adrian Wiggins School of Law. Prior to law school, LeAnne graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Liberal Studies from The University of North Carolina at Greensboro.
While at Campbell University, she was a frequent contributor to the Campbell Law Observer and received the prestigious Ben & Patrice Thompson Scholarship. This full-tuition scholarship is awarded annually to “academically talented, high-achieving candidates, who have overcome significant obstacles in life, such as socio-economic or educational hardships, disabilities or other major challenges.”
Prior to joining our team, she held positions with King Law Offices, Campbell Law Career Center, and Wake County Public Defender’s Office.
In addition to her passion for family law, she has interests in special education and juvenile law. The latter was the focus of her acclaimed dissertation “Undisciplined Juveniles: Encouraging North Carolina Legislation to Create Criteria as to What Constitutes a “Serious” Offense in the Juvenile Code”.
In her spare time, LeAnne loves to travel, golf, play chess, and, most importantly, spend her free time with her husband and her German Shepherd furbaby, Cash.
